The New Bedford ocean port in an attempt to hid the massive boondoggle has had its name changed multiple times to hide the massive 113 million dollar fiasco from the public. The most current name is the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal.

The New Bedford port has no cranes, rail link or port operator. The hurricane gate only has a legal opening of 120 feet and the channel for 5 miles outside the gates is too shallow at low tide. The bond payments are $187,500.00 per month for 30 years. The port is a financial fiasco.

The Massachusetts news media is allowing politicians to bait the public with jobs and the Massachusetts Omnibus Energy Bill. The energy bill for Massachusetts electric rate payers is to pay for the jobs in Rhode Island for the next ten years. It's a tax hike through your electric bill.

The Port of Providence , Rhode Island has the two new German-made Liebherr 550 cranes that can heft about 124 tons per lift and a new 300 foot barge the “Sandy C.” The barge the length of a football fields is capable of being a dock of able to carry a 968,000 pound crane.

The Port of Quonset Point, Rhode Island has a Gottwald 7608 Mobile Harbor Crane. The crane has the ability to lift up to 140 metric tons and stands approximately 126 feet high. Quonset Point has a rail link and an airport. Deepwater Wind is constructing its ocean turbines from the old World War II Navy -Air Base. The port has the ability to service two old World War II battleships at one time as there are two 1500 foot wide channels to the ocean.

The news media , editors and publishers are aware of the fiasco in New Bedford and are omitting the news. The same thing happened with the land based wind turbines in which Massachusetts residents have lost their health and property rights .
