Monday Night Wine Dinners Return to Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro

The restaurant will be offering five wine dinners this fall.

Autumn is perhaps when life on Beacon Hill is at its best, from the its inaugural Neighborhood Block Party to famously decked-out Halloween. Another event that makes fall a bit sweeter is the return of Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro's Monday Night Wine Dinner. 

"Diners are invited to visit various wine regions without leaving the comfort of their seats, as Cecilia and Tracy Burgis of M.S. Walker act as virtual tour guides, moving from region to region explaining the history, curiosities and nuances of each selection," a press release for the bistro states.

The series runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 3, each event showcasing a different region or topic and featuring a four-course meal to complement the four wine servings. Themes of the five dinners are:

  • Oct. 15: How to pair like an expert.
  • Oct. 29: Ciao from Northern Italy, a sampling of wines from Piedmont, Veneto and Alto Adige. 
  • Nov. 5: Gerard Bertrand - Wines from Languedoc/Roussillon
  • Nov. 19: Rioja – Wines from Northern Spain
  • Dec. 3: Holidays and Wine - The New Sparklers and the Old Standbys

The price is $60 per person, not including tax and an 18 percent gratuity. All dinners start at 7 p.m. Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling 617-723-7575.
