
A Lindall Place man who lives in a basement apartment reported to police Sunday at 12:53 a.m. that his home had been broken into while he was gone that day and his laptop computer was missing. The man said he came home to find his window ajar; police did not see signs of forced entry and advised him to lock his window.

- At 3:30 a.m. police responded to 59 Myrtle St. for a report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. According to police reports, a woman said that the suspect threw a wooden light fixture at her that struck her in the forehead. Police observed a 2-inch cut on the woman's forehead. She was advised of domestic violence laws and the case was referred to the domestic officer.
- At 12:12 p.m. police responded to 100 Cambridge St. for a report of larceny by shoplifting, under $50.
