Police Log: Car Theft; Shoplifting on Winter St.
A look at the daily crime reports for Beacon Hill and the surrounding areas from Oct. 15 - Oct. 18.

Friday, Oct. 15
A parked car was stolen from 84 Beacon St. at 2 p.m. A report was not filed until 7 p.m. and no arrests were made.
Police reported an incident of breaking and entering at about 5 p.m. in an office building at 22 Batterymarch St. in the Financial District. The front entryway door was damaged with pry marks on the wood and a window was smashed. Offices on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th floors were also forcibly entered. No arrests were made and a report was not filed until the next day.

Saturday, Oct. 16
An East Indian student partying at a club at the Liberty Hotel on 215 Charles St. reported to police that his Indian passport, iPhone and Canon digital camera were stolen at around 1 a.m. when he set the items down and walked away. No arrests were made.

Police reported larceny from a vehicle parked on Charles St. at about 1:30 p.m. The value of stolen items exceeded $200.
Monday, Oct. 17
Police arrested Felix Diaz of 444 Harrison St. and charged him with shoplifting from a CVS store at 29 Winter St. at 11:30 a.m. Police allege Diaz stole between $50 and $200 worth of property.
A half hour earlier another shoplifting incident was reported at the Staples store at 25 Winter St. Police say between $50 and $200 worth of property was stolen. No arrests were made.
Between Oct. 15 and 17 Boston police made 8 total arrests for disorderly persons in District A-1.
