Police: Pedestrian Rage on Myrtle Street Leads to Assault
Police reports from Beacon Hill, June 19 to 25.

Police say an angry encounter on Myrtle Street ended in assault Wednesday night. At 9 p.m. a Hancock Street resident reported that as he was driving up Myrtle Street a man motioned to him to slow down. The driver then stopped to see what was wrong and the motioning man said that the car's speed was scaring his mother and that he was going to punch the driver in the face, according to police reports.
The driver rolled up the window and went home. As he was unloading his car, the Myrtle Street man drove around the corner, parked in front of the house, pushed the Hancock Street man twice and drove off. Minutes later, the Hancock Street man went outside to find the Myrtle Street man taking photos of his car. The Hancock Street man said he apologized about scaring the mother but the Myrtle Street man did not offer an apology about the shoving, reports indicate.
