St. Patrick’s Day arrives early to the Hill as Photographer Bill Brett signs copies of his newest book Boston, Irish at Blackstone’s of Beacon Hill

Building on his four previous books, Boston, Irish turns the lens on lauded photographer Bill Brett’s own community, the city’s Irish Americans.

St. Patrick’s Day will arrive to Beacon Hill a tad early thanks to Blackstone’s of Beacon Hill ,who will host Boston’s famed Irish photographer Bill Brett on Tuesday, March 10th from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Bill’s new book, Boston, Irish is a compilation of nearly 300 photographs of famous Bostonians both past and present – including even some from the Hill! Joining Bill for a book signing and talk will be his text contributor, Carol Beggy, author and former Globe writer, as well as some surprise faces from the pages of Boston, Irish.! Guests will be treated to refreshments as well as a chance to have some Irish luck and win some great prizes.
