Tuesday Recitals at Kings Chapel: Trio Notturno on April 11

The April 11 midday recital at historic King's Chapel, 58 Tremont Street in downtown Boston, features

Trio Notturno with New England Philharmonic Chamber Players, performing works ofDuddell, Hoffmann and Ravel. The program begins at 12:15 pm and lasts about 35 minutes. Inspired by their name, which means “Night Trio,” Trio Notturno has commissioned and premiered original nocturnes for flute, viola, and harpby composers including Marti Epstein, Joshua Hahn, Keith Kusterer, and Kirsten Volness. The ensemble's mission is to increase the repertoire for this unique combination of instruments. Trio Notturno also performs standard works for flute, viola, and harp in public and private recitals.
