Horses returned to the Boston Common Friday for the <a href="http://www.bostonequestrianclassic.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Putnam Boston Equestrian Classic</a> preview event.  World-class riders showed their stuff to an enthusiastic crowd on a jump track set up not 50 yards from Charles Street.  The four-day event will take place September 8-11 at Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton, MA, and will feature olympic grade show jumping, jousting, and a dog show.   <a href="https://patch.com/img/cdn/users/78803/2011/08/63dbcf09fd5274f12cd9ca090ff98f37.mp4" rel="nofollow">Download the movie</a>
