Free head and neck cancer screenings at this Harvard Medical School-affiliated teaching hospital

Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Boston, has joined forces with the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance to sponsor a free screening in recognition of Oral, Head & Neck Cancer Awareness Week.

Ear, nose and throat specialist Dr. Kevin Emerick and his team will provide free head and neck cancer screenings on Friday, April 17 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in an effort to increase awareness about these types of cancers. Oral and other head and neck cancers remain a target for early detection. When diagnosed very early, they are easy to treat and cure.

These screenings are free and are open to the public, but an RSVP is required. To reserve a space, call 617-573-4084. Spaces are limited so call today.
