Bedford Day: A Community Comes Together
Festivities include everything from the Cocabanana Band to the annual Danny Oates Road Race.

From the Bedford Day Parade to the annual Book Fair, Bedford Day is a chance from members of the community, including local business owners and non-profits, to come together, catch up and celebrate everything Bedford.
Director of the , Amy Hamilton, said Bedford Day serves as an opportunity for the people of Bedford to celebrate as a community in a way they don't get to on a regular basis.

"It's is a day for people to catch up and have fun," Hamilton said. "Everyone can expect to take away some good memories and maybe a goldfish or two."
Hamilton said a new sculpture in the will be unveiled as part of this year's ceremonies. The dedication of the sculpture will take place at 1 p.m.

One of the most exiting parts of the Bedford Day ceremonies will be what local business owners and non-profits bring to the Bedford Day fair, Hamilton said.
"They bring food, games and activities that they determine," Hamilton said. "We don't know exactly what each group will do each year until the day of the fair which makes it fun for everyone."
Businesses participating in the fair this year include the Pan Mass Challenge, and .
As always, parking for the Bedford Day ceremonies will be highly sought after, and Hamilton warned attendees to get there early to avoid having to park at a greater distance from the festival. Handicap parking will be available in front of the .

Bedford Day Fair: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Bedford Day Parade: 10:30 a.m.
Cocabanana Band: Noon-2 p.m.
Bedford Board of Health Free Health Screenings: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Friends of the Bedford Free Public Library Book Fair: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Danny Oates Memorial Road Race: 8:30 a.m.
Bedford Arts and Craft Society's Regional Art Exhibit: 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
