Middlesex Community College Awards Celebrity Forum Scholarships
The MCC Foundation recently awarded scholarships for outstanding academic achievement to 16 Middlesex students.

The Middlesex Community College Foundation recently awarded scholarships for outstanding academic achievement to 16 Middlesex students at MCC’s annual Celebrity Forum.
Evan Rees, of Lexington, was awarded the Dr. Carole A. Cowan Scholarship. This award has been established in honor of Cowan, former MCC President, for the purpose of providing financial assistance to a deserving Middlesex student who is a member of the Commonwealth Honors Program, a Massachusetts Department of Education certified program.
Maryna Eppinger, of Lexington, was awarded the Debra Chemelli-Evans Scholarship. The Chemelli-Evans Scholarship was established in memory of the daughter of William Chemelli, member and former president of the MCC Board of Trustees. Eppinger is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors Program.

Eight students from the Lowell Connections Program were also awarded MCC Foundation Celebrity Forum Scholarships. Lowell Connections enables students to gain the required academic standing to transfer to UMass Lowell through customized advising and coursework at MCC:
