Looking for a job in Bedford? There are new positions that have opened up in the Bedford Public Schools, the Board of Health and the Bedford Free Public Library.
The new jobs are:
Community Health Nurse, Board of Health. Minimum requirements include: a valid license as a Registered Nurse with the Massachusetts Board of Registration; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; over four years of experience in public health or community health nursing experience; experience in clinical performance evaluation; familiarity with public health, emergency preparedness and school nursing programs is highly preferred; current and valid certification in CPR and First Aid; current and valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License and access to an automobile. Successful candidate must be knowledgeable about area health agencies and services and have a working knowledge of health screening and office equipment and computer programs. This is a full-time (35 hours per week) position with a salary range of $45,199 to $52,544; maximum salary is $59,889; depending on experience and education.

Teaching assistants – John Glenn Middle School. Job requirements: Experience with students with emotional and behavioral challenges, bachelor’s degree preferred and citizen, residency or work VISA in US required.
Teaching assistant (.7) – Lt. Job Lane Elementary School. Job requirements: Position is a combination of PE Project Adventure and academic support. Bachelor’s degree preferred and citizen, residency or work VISA in US required.

Library Page, Bedford Free Public Library. Part-time position to shelve books and other library materials six hours per week. $8.86 per hour, no benefits.
