• Community Spirit Shines at Bedford Day 2026 (thebedfordcitizen.org) — Bedford's town campus was packed on Bedford Day as neighbors turned out for the 5K, a lively parade down The Great Road, and a sprawling fair with more than 100 local groups. Residents cheered Bedford runners, watched school bands and community organizations march, visited information and fundraising booths, and ended the night with fireworks near John Glenn Middle School and Bedford High School.
   

• Bedford Charter School Bus Joins the Bedford Day Parade (thebedfordcitizen.org) — Bedford residents saw a familiar sight in this year's Bedford Day parade as a fully decorated Bedford Charter Service school bus rolled up The Great Road for the first time. Longtime driver Paula Lewis recruited students from several Bedford schools to help paint the bus and ride along tossing candy. She hopes the colorful school bus becomes a new annual Bedford Day tradition.
