Second Arrest Made After Violent Home Invasion
Police are searching for a third suspect involved in a shooting and robbery in a Bedford home last Wednesday.

Police made a second arrest Monday in connection to a violent home invasion last week during which one man was shot and two others beaten.
Michael Gonzales, 21, of Lowell, is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery while masked, assault with intent to maim, firearm used in felony, possession of firearm without a license and discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.
On Thursday, police arrested Vini Bunted Proeung, 20, of Lowell, on the same charges. He was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.

Police responded at 2 a.m. last Wednesday for a report of a person shot in an apartment in North Road. Three men in their 20s told police that they were attacked by three other men who broke into the apartment. All three were hospitalized and treated for serious but non life-threatening injuries. The attack was not random, police said, as Proeung worked with at least one of the men in the apartment. The suspects reportedly were looking for drugs in the home.
Gonzalez is scheduled to be arraigned today in Concord District Court. Police are working to identify a third suspect in the case.
