There was a steady stream of parents, teachers, siblings and, of course, the artists themselves heading to the third floor of the Homer Administration building in the Town Hall complex.
The Belmont Gallery of Art was their destination to view this year's Elementary Schools Spring Art Exhibit. Once there, the students had the chance to point out their creations so parents could take photographs as they talk to the art teachers.
The annual display presents a representative sampling of two and three-dimensional artwork by students from Kindergarten through fourth grade from the Burbank, Butler, Wellington and Winn Brook elementary schools. The exhibit featured works in a wide range of media including watercolor and tempera paintings, ceramics, prints, drawings and three-dimensional works.
