Placement auditions will be held on May 30, May 31, and June
1 for anyone interested in joining an ensemble or orchestra at Powers Music
School.
The Massachusetts Youth Symphony Project (MYSP) with Conductor George
Ogata is looking for students ages 12-18 and ages 8-12 interested in learning
about an orchestra environment with at least 1 year of ensemble or orchestra
experience. Adults may audition for the Powers Festival Orchestra or Powers
Harmony Chorale, as well as various chamber ensembles, jazz ensembles, and
viola da gamba consorts. Ensembles are also available for students ages 9 and
up in a variety of styles, including jazz, rock, and chamber.
