Ayla Brown Launches Payson Park Music Festival
American Idol finalists returns for her third visit to annual summer music series.
On Wednesday, June 15, the Payson Park Music Festival returns for its 22nd season with American Idol finalist, Ayla Brown in concert.
Growing up in the Boston area, Ayla started her national music career in 2005 reaching the quarterfinals of "American Idol" and has been producing records ever since. Returning for her third visit to Payson Park, Ayla has always brought joy to the audience, especially the younger members of the audience. is generously sponsoring the show.
Opening for Ms. Brown is hometown band, The Radio Empire. With Will Slap on drums, Nick Reichheld on bass, Chris LaRoque on guitar and Chris Gilligan on vocals, this rock band has gained a following among high schoolers and friends.

During intermission, music fans will be also treated to a visit from members of Greyhound Friends, one of the oldest and largest greyhound rescue groups in the country.
Robert Mahoney, president of Belmont Savings Bank, and his wife Kathy are the largest individual donors to this rescue organization for retired racing dogs which was started in 1983. Mr. Mahoney’s dog, Parker, along with some of his canine friends will be greeting the crowd.
