Ayla Brown Opening Payson Park Music Festival June 20

"American Idol" finalist Ayla Brown will for the third year open the Payson Park Music Festival season.

A favorite of the festival, Brown – whose performance is sponsored by the Belmont Savings Bank – will perform at 6:45 p.m. on June 20 at the Payson Park playground, the home for the 14 acts who are invited to play.

The 23rd season of the festival will have acts ranging from straight rock n roll, blues, oldies along with the sounds of the big band era. Belmont Idol winner Olivia Kerns will be the opening act for Tom Nutile Big Band on Aug. 1.

In addition to the evening program, four children's programs will be offered on consecutive Fridays at Noon beginning July 13 and ending Aug. 3.
