Belmont Commuter Rail Fire: Fitchburg Line Delays
A fire reportedly broke out in the engine compartment of a train.
BELMONT, MA – The Fitchburg Line is delayed due to an incident at Belmont Center. Police said a small fire was extinguished aboard a commuter rail engine. There were no injuries, according to Transit Police.
Passengers will be transferred to buses. Commuter Rail riders should expect delays in the area of Belmont Center, police said.
