As we look ahead to November’s elections, Belmont Patch is devoted to bring you the information you need about every race in town. Here are five that locals are already talking about:

State Ballot Initiatives: Four-likely propositions will also be on the November ballot; introducing performance-based evaluations for teachers promotions, a death with dignity law, something to do with auto repairs and to legalize pot for "medical" use.

: The incumbant state senator and Belmont's highest ranking state official will have a Republican challenger from Watertown in November but even Watertown's , believes his is more of a symbolic than a substantive run.
