Belmont Gallery of Art's AP Art Students Paris Trip Fundraiser Exhibit

The Belmont Gallery of Art is pleased to present an exhibit
showcasing the work of students in Belmont High School’s Advanced Placement Art
Class Jan. 10-31. Sales from work sold at the show will help fund the students’
upcoming April vacation trip to Paris, where they’ll have an opportunity to
study art in the City of Light.
Students participating in the Paris Fundraiser show include: Sophie Bonstrom, Gavin Dennison, Aldis Elfarsdottir, Olivia Fan, Chihiro Ichikawa, Austin Ickes, Anna Khachaturova, Julia McLean, Joanna Nanajian,Cheung Qin, Hae Soo Park, Kate Saylor, Abby Shuster, Vinutna Veeragandham, Aurelle Albano, Darcy Feeley, Justin Jang, Christin Kim, Julia Klein, Clare lai, Kim Paquette, Anastasia Pulak, Brenna Sorkin, Amy Wang, Samantha Xu, Hongsen Yang, Sabine Strauch, Catherine Tang.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to see the work created by these gifted young artists under the guidance of Belmont High School art teacher Mark Milowsky. A reception with the artists takes place in the gallery on Sunday, Jan. 26, 1-4PM. Events are open and free to the public.

Since opening its doors in July 2005, the Belmont Gallery of Art (BGA), has presented over fifty shows featuring the work of dozens of local and

regional artists. The recipient of a Gold Star Award from the Massachusetts

Cultural Council, the BGA has been recognized and praised for its support and

promotion of the arts and culture in Belmont and surrounding communities.
The Paris Fundraiser show runs Jan. 10-31, 2014. The Belmont Gallery of Art is located on the 3rd fl. of the Homer Bldg., 19 Moore St., Belmont Center. Hours are Thurs. and Fri., 10-4 and Sunday 1-4. Please visit the Belmont Gallery of Art’s website at www.belmontgallery.org for more
