Belmont High School Ranked Third Best in State
US News & World Report also put Belmont High in the top 200 high schools nationally.
US News & World Report released its annual list of the nation’s top high schools Tuesday and Belmont High School came in at No. 3 in the state.
Boston Latin School topped the Massachusetts list; Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School in Marlborough was second.
Belmont High finished 151st in the publication’s national rankings.

From the rankings:
“Belmont High School is ranked 3rd within Massachusetts. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate at Belmont High School is 71 percent. The student body makeup is 49 percent male and 51 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 29 percent.”
