BELMONT, MA — Belmont is looking for a new parking enforcement officer to hire. The position is part time and the deadline for the application is Jan. 17.
The parking enforcement officer would ensure the town parking rules are being followed and conduct timely patrols of assigned parking zones. The job also requires the officer to check parking meters as well as keep a record of the actions taken and fines imposed.
The part-time position pays $15.83 an hour. Applicants are required to have a high school diploma and six months of customer service or related experience as well as a Massachusetts driver's license.
