Belmont to Hold Vigil for Community & Peace Tuesday
The vigil will take place tomorrow night at St. Joseph Parish on Common Street.

Belmont, MA – Belmont will hold a community vigil tomorrow night on the heels of a series of tragic events across the country last week.
The Vigil for Community & Peace will begin at 8 p.m. at the St. Joseph Parish courtyard, 130 Common St. Parking is available in the St. Joseph parking lot on School Street.
The vigil is sponsored by Belmont Against Racism, the Belmont Religious Council and various community groups.

It will focus on reflection and prayer; members of different faith communities in town, local community organizations and representatives from the Belmont Police Department are slated to attend.
The candlelight service will conclude after sunset at 8:30 p.m.
