Belmont Officer Injured in Arlington Crash

Both drivers in the two-car crash were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Belmont, MA – A Belmont police officer was involved in a two-car crash Thursday morning in Arlington.

The accident occurred around 11:29 a.m. at the intersection of Park Avenue and Concord Turnpike in Arlington, Arlington Police Capt. Richard Flynn confirmed with Patch.

Flynn said that both the officer and the driver of the second car were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

The officer's police cruiser sustained front-end damage in the crash. The incident is under investigation by the Arlington Police Department.
