Belmont Police Offer Reward for Suspect in McLean Fire
The two-alarm blaze swept through an abandoned building on the McLean Hospital campus early Monday morning.

BELMONT, MA – Belmont police are offering a $5,000 for the identity of the person they believe set a fire that swept through an abandoned building at McLean Hospital early Monday morning.
According to Boston.com, the fire was first reported at 2:41 a.m. and ultimately upgraded to two alarms. The building has not been in use for about a decade, the site reported.

On Tuesday, the Belmont Police Department tweeted an offer for a $5,000 reward in exchange for information about who set fire to the building, indicating that they may be investigating the blaze as arson.
