Belmont Police Seek Witnesses to Hit-and-Run

BELMONT, MA – Police in Belmont are looking for witnesses to a hit-and-run that occurred Tuesday evening.

According to police, the vehicle struck a 51-year-old woman at the intersection of Concord Avenue and Common Street at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday evening. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The vehicle reportedly fled west down Royal Road. Police say it may have been a dark colored SUV.
