Belmont Public Library Closed This Weekend

The library is closed through Sunday for abatement of asbestos piping.

BELMONT, MA – The Belmont Public Library will be closed through the weekend, starting Thursday. The library is closing for abatement of asbestos piping and will reopen Monday, June 19 at 9 a.m. The Reference Room is also currently closed as of last Thursday.

For a few weeks, the reference desk will be located in the lobby of the main floor. Museum passes may still be reserved and picked up at the desk and laptops will be available for checkout with a library card of photo ID for in-library use. Desktop PCs will not be available.

Color printing and copying, faxing and scanning to a flash drive will be unavailable, but black and white printing, copying and scanning to email will remain operational.
