Belmont Public Schools: Run On October 3rd To Celebrate Education In Belmont!

The FBE Apple 5K and 2K races are events that celebrate education in Belmont. The 5K run passes by four of Belmont’s schools (Burbank, Chenery, Wellington, and the High School) and recognizes Belmont’s commitment to educating its young.

Now in its ninth year (six years as the Dan Scharfman Memorial Run), the FBE Apple Run has brought thousands of runners to the streets of Belmont, Massachusetts to support public education and innovation in the Belmont Public Schools.

Join us on Sunday, October 3, for a fun morning of running, community, and celebration! 5K race at 9:30am and the 2K race (new route) at 10:45am.

Not feeling fit enough to run? Fall into shape with our COUCH-2-5K TRAINING PROGRAM. Email our race co-director and Couch-2-5K coach Scot DeDeo at racedirector@fbe-belmont.org to receive training details via your email – jump into training any week!
