Belmont Resident Named Chief Medical Quality Officer and Chief of Spine Surgery

New England Baptist Hospital Promotes Scott Tromanhauser, MD, MBA

Scott Tromanhauser, MD, MBA has been named Chief Medical Quality Officer and the Chief of Spine Surgery at the New England Baptist Hospital, a Boston-based premier regional provider for orthopedic surgery and the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and disorders. Dr. Tromanhauser will be responsible for establishing and supporting quality initiatives to improve musculoskeletal care.

Dr. Tromanhauser  had more than twenty years of experience in teaching, research and patient care. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. He has an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a medical degree from the Albany Medical College, and a Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University. He is presently completing a Master’s degree in Health Care Delivery Science at Dartmouth College.
