Here's when Belmont students are due back in class and some other helpful back-to-school tips for parents.
BELMONT, MA – Sorry, students - it's about that time of year again.
Belmont students in grades 1-12 are due back in school Wed., Sep. 7. Kindergarteners will report to class Thurs., Sep. 8.
If the first day of school seems like it snuck up on you, you're not alone. According to CNN, many schools nationwide start before the end of August, and some even in July.

However, some districts still adhere to the "Labor Day" rule, including Belmont, which doesn't require its students back until after the long weekend.
