Troop 304 practiced map and compass skills while identifying plants and animals.

Boy Scouts from Belmont Troop 304 went for a 5-mile hike in the Middlesex Fells Reservation on December 16. At Wright's Tower atop Pine Hill in Medford, MA, Theo Huang and Eamon Khan used maps and compasses to plan their route. Scouts came across a deer and practiced identifying other animals and plants.
