Belmont Stabbing Suspect Arrested After Chase, Crash: DA
What started in Belmont ended after a wreck in Cambridge, authorities said.
BELMONT, MA — A man who authorities said stabbed a woman and before leading officers on a chase through three communities was arrested.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan's Office said the stabbing was at a Partridge Lane residence in Belmont. Police arrived around 9:38 a.m. to find the woman suffering from apparent stab wounds.
The man was pursued by Belmont police through Arlington and into Cambridge, where he crashed, authorities said. He was arrested and brought to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

The victim is hospitalized. The seriousness of her injuries was not disclosed.
