Boys' Lacrosse Falls in Double OT, 13-12, to Arlington Catholic

Marauders could not keep lead as AC comes back from 7-2 half time deficit.

Watching Belmont High's boys lacrosse in the second half of their match with Arlington Catholic at Harris Field on Thursday, May 3, was like witnessing a person in quicksand: the harder they try, the deeper they sink.

After taking a well-earned lead into half time, the Marauders' saw AC go on a 10-5 run in the second 24 minutes to force overtime where, in the second extra session, Sean Donovan scored his first of the game to give the Cougars (6-3) their sixth win of the season.

For Belmont, the loss continues their winless season with eight losses, four coming by a single goal including two in overtime.
