Beethoven’s Wig Introduces Classical Music to Kids
The award winning family music act Beethoven's Wig is coming to Belmont for their first greater-Boston area performance!
The award winning family music act Beethoven’s Wig is coming to Belmont for their first greater-Boston area performance! The Belmont Public Library will sponsor lead writer, singer, and performer Richard Perlmutter’s energetic solo show on Thursday, April 19 at 2 pm.
Due to Mr. Perlmutter’s nation-wide popularity, this special April vacation program will be held in the Chenery Middle School Auditorium located at 95 Washington St. in Belmont.
For the past decade, this nationally known music act has introduced the joys of classical music to a generation of children through clever lyrics and on-stage antics. Kids will laugh at “Can You Can Can” and the tongue-twisting “Please Do Not Tease the Viennese,” while adults will marvel at the operatic acrobatics of “La De Da Sonata,” and the subject material of songs like “Beep Beep Beep (Moonlight Sonata).”
