Calling All World Travelers! Explore the World at the Belmont Public Library!

There's still time to sign up for the library's One World, Many Stories Summer Reading Program!

It’s been a record breaking summer for the Belmont Children’s Room!

We have more than 750 children signed up to participate in summer reading and have had nearly 1,000 children and their family members come to our programs. Our weekly raffle awards four winners with prizes provided by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library with generous support from Belmont Toys.  We still have plenty of great programs coming up, such as My First Yoga on Aug. 4 and the Didgeridoo Down Under on Aug. 10, as well as our Tuesday Noontime Movies and other great programs.

There’s still time to sign up for the library’s One World, Many Stories Summer Reading Program! Children in preschool through grade 6 are eligible for a chance to win exciting prizes by reading books of their choice. Young people in grades 4-6 are also invited to join our Genre Challenge. Participants are encouraged to read a book from seven different categories, such as mystery and fantasy and then come to our special end of summer pizza party.
