Dog Storytime and Craft With Debbie Hartman, Author of Kaela and the Missing Canine
Tuesday, May 8 at 3:15 p.m., Belmont Public Library Flett Room
What happens when a princess loses her favorite puppy? She summons everyone in the castle to help search. Readers get to hunt for hidden dragons and bones on every page! Author Debbie Hartman will read her story and explain how the book was made, and then participants will make a dog craft.
Debbie Hartman is also the author of Jacob and the Magic Feather. Her stories are inspired by imagination, love of the outdoors, and her real-life family and friends. She lives in Belmont MA with her two children, husband and many pets.

Mermaid Storytime and Craft With Ammi-Joan Paquette, Author of The Tiptoe Guide to Tracking Mermaids

Have you ever wanted to find a mermaid? Read this book to find the hidden clues that show where mermaids live and find some hidden
mermaids in the book! Participants will enjoy author Ammi-Joan Paquette’s reading with a mermaid craft to follow.
Ammi-Joan Paquette is both a literary agent and an author of both young adult books and picture books, with titles including The Tiptoe Guide to Tracking Fairies and Nowhere Girl and several upcoming titles.
