Chenery Middle School Principals To Leave Next Year
Kristen St. George and Daniel Coplon-Newfield announced they will leave their positions for new jobs at the end of the school year.
BELMONT, MA - Within the last week two of Chenery Middle School's educators have announced their plans to depart from the school district at the end of the year.
Principal Kristen St. George notified parents March 2 that she will be leaving for an undisclosed role in another district, and one of the upper school's assistant principals, Daniel Coplon-Newfield, announced March 7 that he will take over as Head of School at the Vassal Lane Upper School, according to the Belmont Citizen-Herald.
Vassal Lane is a small public middle school in Cambridge.

Both principals announced their intention to stay on and assist with the transition to the next administration.
