TLC Developmental Play & Parenting Classes include the optimal balance between structured group and open choice playtime. Supporting how children learn best, each class follows a very predictable weekly routine including Circle, Activity, Choice, Lotion, and Book Times. During Open Play, parents have the opportunity to receive expert support around common parenting challenges and connect with one another.
The class curriculum includes a weekly developmental focus (e.g. cognitive, language, social, sensory) and parenting topic (e.g. picky eating, sleep challenges, positive discipline, separation anxiety, temper tantrums, sibling adjustments). Participants receive optional weekly parenting resources to review before class and Take-Home Ideas to reinforce learning in class. Each child is gifted an appropriate developmental book to be read daily at home and experience in class.
The Loved Child offers programming for families with children beginning in infancy. All classes are led by highly experienced instructors.
