Clones Invade the Chenery Thursday
Men in black, Pink shirts and scarves, soccer tops all in the view of boosting school spirit.
It was darn near scary at Thursday, April 26.
More than a dozen men (and one woman) all wearing the same outfit: Black suits, white shirts, black ties, sunglasses, teaching classes and wandering the halls in the Upper and Lower Schools?
Is the Chenery where Men in Black are now meeting? Did the agents from "The Matrix" come to the school?

Then came a slew of female teachers all wearing pink shirts, blue jeans and scarves. Students in stripped shirts, others in Belmont-town soccer shirts.
Was this some mad cloning experiment in the second-floor science room sponsored by the Foundation for Belmont Education gone terribly wrong?

Not exactly. Yesterday was Clones Spirit Day at the middle school, according to Leon Dyer, a teacher and adviser for the Upper School Student Council.
Once a month, teachers, staff and students come up with a day that the entire school can show a collective unity of purpose in a fun and at times off beat way, according the Dyer.
"Part of a role of an adviser is to find fun activities for the students. For the upper school that can be dances and for the school, a day to dress up," he said.
