Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Belmont Office Donates To Charities

The Coldwell Banker offices in Belmont and Arlington donated a total of $1,000 to Let's Tackle Breast Cancer and Lucy's Love Bus.

The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices in Arlington and Belmont recently donated a total of $1,000 to two nonprofit organizations through the company’s charitable foundation, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares.

Donations of $500 were presented to Let’s Tackle Breast Cancer Inc. and Lucy’s Love Bus. Let’s Tackle Breast Cancer is a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers, most of whom have been directly affected by breast cancer, that raises awareness and funds to help in the fight against breast cancer. The majority of funds raised by the organization are used to assist members of the community struggling with breast cancer. A portion of its proceeds are also donated to “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer”, which is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation. The founder of Let’s Tackle Breast Cancer is Lynne Lowenstein, an award-winning real estate professional affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Arlington office.

Lucy’s Love Bus provides funds to pediatric cancer patients and their families for free integrative therapies such as massage, acupuncture, art therapy, yoga and therapeutic horseback riding.

The organization was started by Lucy Grogan, who was 8 years old when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. When Lucy was 11, she told her mother that when she was “done with cancer” she wanted to start a program that would provide free integrative therapies to all children with cancer to help manage the side effects and late effects of traditional cancer treatment. Lucy succumbed to her illness but her legacy lives on.

“As a company, we are committed to giving back to our communities. Through the generous contributions of the affiliated sales associates in the Arlington and Belmont offices, we were able to make these donations to two organizations that greatly contribute to the health and well-being of our neighbors,” said Angela Stamoulos, sales manager of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices in Arlington and Belmont.
