Depositing Turkeys At Belmont Savings
Employees and Belmont Food Pantry benefit from town-based bank's "amazing year."

Think of it as depositing good will in the bank.
Robert Mahoney, CEO of , traveled to the bank's three branches in town and in Watertown to deliver a turkey to each of its 90 employees two days before Thanksgiving.
In addition, a dozen turkeys were destined to be taken across Concord Avenue to the Belmont Food Pantry.

"This is terrific," said Mahoney as he was distributing the big birds to staff in the bank's headquarters in Belmont Center on Leonard Street.
This was the first time the bank had distributed gobblers to employees like Janine Doumanian, the teller manager at the main branch.

"Oh, it IS heavy," said the 11-year employee from Watertown who speculated that her bird was a male.
"We had an amazing year," said Mahoney. "The bank is doing great. We had a that has done very well so we have a lot to give thanks for. This is our way of giving back to our colleagues and the town."
