About Belmont Piano Academy
Belmont Piano Academy provides a well-rounded and engaging music education that seeks to develop a lifelong love of music in young piano students. Our desire is to connect with each student on a personal level, helping to nurture their natural creativity. Whether it is by learning the Starwars theme song, a Bach prelude, Rachmaninoff etude, or a Coldplay ballad, it is our mission to help these young musicians thrive at the piano!
Piano instruction at Belmont Piano Academy includes many different resources. Each student (ages 5-18) receives 15 private lessons (45 minutes each) per Fall and Spring semester, as well as 2 group classes per semester. The purpose of the group classes is to build a community spirit among the students, encouraging them in their practice and their hard work. It also gives them a chance to practice performing from memory in preparation for the spring recital. All books and materials (theory, music history, repertoire, etc) are included in lessons, as well as piano practice support from the teachers through the week (via an app we use called Practicia). There is also an Ipad lab at the studio that students use, which is filled with the most current music education apps.
