You're invited to buy crisp, just-picked apples from the Belmont Farmers' Market, whip up a dessert, and enter the 5th Annual Belmont Farmers' Market Apple Dessert Contest on Thursday, October 15.
Entry forms are available at the blue Belmont Farmers' Market tent, or at www.belmontfarmersmarket.org. The top two entries in each of four categories will win. Entries will be judged on taste, appearance, and creativity.
Categories are pre- and elementary school, middle school, high school, and adult, with an additional award to the best overall dessert entry. Awards include gift certificates to local businesses and the Farmers' Market.

Bring your entries to the blue Belmont Farmers' Market tent no later than 3:00 p.m. on October 7. Winners will be announced no later than Market close at 6:00 p.m. on October 7; winners need not be present.
