Author Cal Newport will speak on 'Academic Success Without Stress:  Stategies for Escaping the Cult of Overwork.'  Please join us as Newport explores the world of successful students who lead uncluttered and authentic lives.

Cal Newport graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College in 2004, and earned a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2009. He's currently a postdoctoral associate at MIT and the author of three books, including How to Be a High School Superstar:  A Revolutionary Plan to Get into College by Standing Out (Without Burning Out).

This talk is geared to both students and parents.  Books will be available for sale and signing.
