League of Women Voters Program, 'How to Run for Town Meeting or Town-Wide Office'

Town Clerk Ellen O'Brien Cushman will provide information on how to get on the ballot, rules concerning the conduct of a campaign and important dates to remember.  She and members of the League of Women Voters of Belmont will speak about what motivates them to serve as Town Meeting Members and Town Officials, and why it is important for a wide range of people to run for office.
