Science for the Public Lecture--Peter Fisher

Professor Peter Fisher, Professor of Physics at MIT, will speak on 'Dark Matter in the Universe:  Do we need it?  What is it?  Where is it?  How much is there?'  He will explain dark matter, the mysterious, invisible stuff that holds galaxies together.  After a brief review of dark matter, he will discuss the present big hunt for it, and he'll describe a new experiment that aims to locate the source.

All are welcome to attend this free program sponsored by Science for the Public.  Light refreshments will be provided.
