Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Recognizes Belmont Champions
Belmont High School winners of the National Economics Challenge honored.

Kenneth C. Montgomery, First Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, welcomed the Belmont High School winners of the National Economics Challenge, Adam Smith Division, to the Bank for a celebratory lunch.
Montgomery, who also is the Boston Fed’s Chief Operating Officer, had seen the final quiz bowl round and congratulated the students on their excellent responses and commanding victory over The Harker School from San Jose, California.
The students, Robbie Gibson, John Lazenby, Evan Green, and Ben Goodman, were accompanied by their former economics teacher, Bryan Corrigan.

Also attending the lunch from the Bank were Scott Guild, Director of Economic Education and Albert Barnor, Economic Education Specialist.
Representing the Massachusetts Council on Economic Education, the co-sponsor of the Massachusetts State Economics Challenge, were Board Chair Dan McCarthy and Alice Cornish White, President.
