How Did Steve Jobs Affect Your Life?

Apple co-founder and technology and marketing visionary who passed away Wednesday changed the way the world communicated.

From the original Macintosh computer in 1984 to the newest version of the culture-changing iPhone released Tuesday, Steve Jobs has directly touched the lives of everyone around the world.

Jobs passed away Wednesday at the age of 56, having lost a long-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. 

"The world has rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come," said Bill Gates.

And while Belmont be more than 3,100 miles away from Apple's home of Silicon Valley, if you own an iPhone smart phone and buy apps, listen to music on an iPod and purchase the 'tunes from iTunes, read the news on your iPad and sit at Starbucks with your MacBook Pro laptop, you have a closer relationship with, who current Apple CEO Tim Cook called, "a visionary and creative giant" than you thought.
