“Hegarty has served her community as a public servant for 20 years, advocating for the underprivileged members of her district. In the State House, she will continue to provide a strong voice for those who feel they have none. As a public servant and a lifelong resident of the district, Hegarty is keenly aware of the concerns and needs of its residents. She will work tirelessly towards long term solutions—not short-term fixes—on issues such as education, transportation, and public safety.”
“I am truly honored to receive the endorsement of the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus,” says Hegarty.

“As a public servant, I am acutely aware of the issues that disproportionally affect women and greatly value the work that the MWPC does to increase the number of women elected to office. In the State House, I will retain my deep commitment to the 24th Middlesex district, and will work to improve the quality of our schools, to preserve public transportation in our district, and to protect the best interests of our community.”
